
Bishop McCort went into its locker room with a 28-14 halftime lead, but Richland scored three touchdowns while holding the Crushers scoreless to pick up a 35-28 victory. The loss was the first for McCort in the 2011 season.

The Rams received the opening kickoff and marched 80 yards in 10 plays with Matt Shaffer scoring the TD with a five yard run. Bobby Colvin kicked the first of five extra points for a 7-0 lead. McCort responded on its first possession with an 8 play, 63 yard drive as Zach Varga scored from the five.
Jordan Spangler's PAT tied the score at 7.
Jerqual Wilson's interception return to the Rams' seven set up another Varga touchdown from the one and a Crusher lead of 14-7. Richland tied the score on a three play drive and John Rizzo's 69 yard run late in the first period.

Christian Leech returned the ensuing kickoff to the Richland 45. Three plays later,
Jesse Cooper connected with Wilson on a 35 yard TD pass and a seven point lead for McCort. Another Ram turnover, an interception by Spangler, set up another touchdown pass, this time from Cooper to Leech for 33 yards. Richland threatened to score late in the half, but fumbled the snap at the Crusher three yard line and Leech recovered the ball.

Richland's picked up one touchdown in the third quarter and two more in the fourth for the 35-28 lead. A late Crusher drive was stopped at the McCort 46 when the Rams recovered a fumble.
