The Bishop McCort High School hockey team will be honored by the Cambria County Sports Hall of Fame (CCSHOF) on the 20th anniversary of the Crushers' PIHL Class A Pennsylvania Cup state championship in 1994. Under head coach Galen Head, McCort became the first area scholastic squad to win a state title, and the Crushers rolled to a four-peat and gold medal appearances five times in six seasons (1994, 1995, 1996, 1997 and 1999) while skating for head coaches Head, John Bradley and Steve Carlson. 

The hall of fame ceremony will begin with a social gathering at 6 p.m., with the banquet to follow at 7. Cambria County Sports Hall of Fame's new website provides more information at www.ccshof.org.
