The Last Time:
Penn Cambria quickly moved the ball on their opening possession. A long pass play set up the Panthers inside the McCort ten yard line. Tyler Strasser plunged into the end zone as the Panthers went up 6-0 less than a minute into the game. Â After a McCort three and out, Penn Cambria again struck quickly with a Mark Mardula 25 yard touchdown run to put Penn Cambria up 13-0 after one quarter.Â
The Panthers added another score before the half as Mark Mardula found Nick Hite for a 44 yard touchdown pass to increase their lead to 20-0. Penn Cambria added another score in the second half to set the final at 27-0.Â
The McCort offense was led by two freshman running backs. Anthony Walters led the way with 36 rushing yards, while Carnell Andrews finished with 30 rushing yards and 28 receiving yards. Â

Week 9 Recap:
Bishop McCort jumped out to a 27-0 halftime lead and never looked back for a 41-6 win over the Central Cambria Red Devils. The Crushers netted 419 yards of total offense while posting 20 first downs. Sophomore Anthony Walters led the offensive charge with 206 rushing yards and 3 touchdowns.Â
Bishop McCort received the opening kickoff and they quickly asserted themselves on offense. The Crushers used a 15 play 67 yard scoring drive that chewed up 7:13 of game clock. Â The drive resulted in an Anthony Walters 1 yard touchdown plunge to give McCort a 6-0 lead, which held through the end of the first period.Â
The Crushers started the second quarter in the middle of a lengthy drive. Andre Nash's 58 yard run set McCort deep in Red Devils' territory, and eventually Levi Cook scored from one yard away to put the Crushers up 12-0. Â After a Central Cambria punt, McCort again found success running the ball. Anthony Walters scored his second touchdown from five yards out, and added the two-point conversion himself to increase the McCort lead to 20-0.Â
McCort put together another scoring drive in the first half. A big pass play from Levi Cook to Michael Stem set up the Crushers deep in Central Cambria territory. Jozef Leech capped off the drive with a 1 yard score and Shane Steele added the extra point to set the halftime score 27-0.Â
After the Crusher defense forced another punt on the opening possession of the third quarter, the McCort offense got back to work on the ground game. Anthony Walters scored his third touchdown of the game from 18 yards out to increase the McCort lead to 34-0. Central Cambria responded with a scoring drive of their own as Justin Bezek found Matthew Gillen for a 15 yard score to bring the Red Devils to within 34-6.Â
The Crushers struck one more time, as Levi Cook found Jozef Leech across the middle for a 35 yard touchdown pass. Shane Steele's extra point set the running clock in motion, and the Crushers held on for the 41-6 victory. The win improved McCort's record to 2-7, and they will finish up the 2015 season with a home game against Penn CambriaÂ
