McCort-Carroll Football cruised to a 42-0 win over Phillipsburg-Osceola last Friday night at The Point. The win moves the team to 8-0 overall and in the driver's seat in the LHAC and District 6. This was the team's third overall and second consecutive shut out. Only one team has scored more than 7 points against McCort all season (Richland-12). On the other end, McCort's offense remains extremely potent. They've scored over 40 points the last four weeks including 55 and 56 point outbursts. All of this has led to McCort being ranked as the #5 AA team in Pennsylvania by PA Football News for the third straight week. This week they look to carry that momentum into another home game against Forest Hills (6-2). This is the last game on the current schedule before week 10 brings the LHAC crossover match (likely Bishop Guilfoyle) and then the postseason begins thereafter.
