The Bishop McCort football team improved their unblemished record to 11-0 last night with a 39-6 win over Bald Eagle.  The District 6 playoffs started out as expected in the first round with the LHAC teams dominating their Heritage Conference opponents.  The LHAC was given the 1 (McCort) and 2 (Richland) seeds by District 6.  In addition, LHAC member Bellwood-Antis was the 6 seed and defeated the 3 seed (River Valley) by four scores.  River Valley was the highest seeded Heritage member.  The only win the Heritage Conference got was against itself in the 4 vs 5 match-up where Marion Center defeated Cambria Heights 29-22. Coincidentally, that will be McCort's opponent in the District 6 semi-finals: Marion Center. That game will take place Friday night November 7th at The Point.
