McCort-Carroll Football should receive another boost in the state rankings after proving their meddle in one of the most highly anticipated D6 and LHAC matchups of the regular season. McCort never trailed as they ended the first quarter up 7-0. They led by as many as 21 in the second quarter before Richland scored to make it 21-6 at half time. The third quarter was a long, drawn out war of attrition but McCort ended it with a 31-12 lead and never looked back. The win is big for playoff seeding implications and regular season placement but it's highly likely these two will meet again in the D6 playoffs.
