Bishop McCort Catholic High School Athletics

Brett Morgenstern joined Bishop McCort in 2021 as an assistant on the Junior High Football staff, helping lead the team to a 7-1 record in his lone season with junior high.  He joined the varsity staff in 2022 as an offensive assistant, working with wide receivers and quarterbacks. 

Brett was a 2010 graduate of Richland High School, where he played football and baseball.  He furthered his football career as a student athlete at Juniata College (’14), where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in accounting.  During his four years at Juniata, Brett played wide receiver and tight end offensively, and was a long-snapper on special teams.  His playing career concluded with an appearance in the 2013 ECAC Southwest Bowl, which was the school’s first bowl game and postseason appearance since the 1973 Stagg Bowl. 

Brett currently resides in Richland Township and is employed by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as the Altoona Regional Manager for the Pennsylvania Department of Revenue, Bureau of Audits.
