Tim Hornick ('11) will be entering his 7th overall season with the Bishop McCort Crushers in 2023 as he takes control of the offensive play calling duties.
Tim has spent the last 5 seasons on the Crusher sidelines working with both the offensive line and the defensive front seven.
Prior to returning to Bishop McCort for the 2018 season, Coach Hornick was the Assistant Head Football Coach, Director of Football Operations, Special Teams Coordinator, and Defensive Line Coach at Defiance College.
Hornick is a 2015 graduate of Saint Francis University where he was a member of the Red Flash Football team playing Defensive Line and Outside Linebacker under Head Coach Chris Villarial.
A 2011 graduate of Bishop McCort, Tim was a 3 year letter winner on the football team. While playing for the Crushers, Hornick was a part of the offensive and defensive lines. In 2009 he centered an offensive line that helped pave the way to the program's first State Title appearance. Overall the teams he played for went 34-7 winning 2 District 6 Titles and appearing in 3. Hornick was also a member of the Tribune Democrat All-2K Football Team.
Coach Hornick is currently employed by Bishop McCort Catholic High School as The Blended Academy Director and Academic Coordinator. He has also coordinatied the Strength & Conditioning Program.
