Bishop Guilfoyle jumped out to an early lead and never looked back as they defeated the Crushers 49-0 Saturday night at Point Stadium.
Bishop McCort's offense was unable to get on track all game as the Crushers were held to just 35 yards of total offense for the night.

The Marauders started quickly as Sam McCloskey took the handoff on the first play of the game and raced 62 yards to the Crusher three-yard line. McCloskey scored the game's first touchdown two plays later to give Bishop Guilfoyle a 7-0 lead.
The Crushers were forced to punt on their initial possession, and Bishop Guilfoyle quick- ly added to the lead as Brandon Chadbourn found Aaron Yasulitis for a 75-yard touch- down pass on first down.
Bishop McCort was again forced to punt on the following possession, and McCloskey returned the punt 51 yards for a touchdown to make it 21-0 midway through the open- ing quarter.
McCloskey added his third and fourth touchdowns of the game in the second quarter on a 1-yard scoring plunge and 56-yard dash. Chadbourn also added two more touchdown passes in the second quarter with a 5-yard completion to Matt Gormley and a 17-yard hookup with McCloskey.
McCloskey finished the game with 144 yards on nine carries, two catches for 25 yards, two punt returns for 54 yards, and five total touchdowns. Chadbourn completed 7-12 passes for 148 yards and three touchdowns. Neither played in the second half.
The Marauders took a 49-0 lead into halftime while gaining 327 yards of total offense and forcing six Crusher punts.
The Crushers will look to end their four-game losing streak this Saturday as they host the Central Cambria Red Devils Saturday night at Point Stadium.Â
